2024 GM Summer Camp

This camp is designed for talented youth with a rating over 1600+. These six weeks are designed to prepare students to take their game to the next level and ready them to compete against the very best!

Students will register for either the day camp or overnight camp. All students will participate in activities such as chess training sessions and sports sessions from 9am to 5pm. After the commuter students leave, the overnight students will participate in a 90 minute recreational session to refresh the mind. Activities include: bowling, ping pong, miniature golf, soccer, and more! Campers will then have dinner as a group and go to bed at 10pm.

Our coach for the first six weeks of camp, Grandmaster Alexander Stripunsky, trained several of our top young players, including NM Joshua Colas and NM Gary Leschinsky. Click HERE to read more about GM Stripunsky's accomplishments!

Our coach for the final week of camp, Grandmaster Elshan Moradiabadi, has worked as the US cadet coach at Pan Am (2019), Head of delegations at World Cadets (2019), and US Open team coach (world team-2019). Click HERE to read more about GM Moradiabadi's coaching career and philosophy!
