Joe Pacella

Joe is a Chess Teacher and ICA Chief Tournament Director. He specialize in teaching chess to the younger children ages 5 to 11 years old.  He incorporates fun with learning.  Joe created a board game called Chess-A-Rama which teach tactics to young children in fun board game environment.    

 

Joe is very involved in the New Jersey Chess Network. He teaches chess 6 days a week and has directed over 150 chess events in the last 2 years.  He is also a tournament Director for the US Chess League and an active tournament Player.  Joe is Vice President of the Bergen Chess Mates and is an active member of both the Suffern Chess Club and the Butler Chess Club. 

 

Before joining ICA Joe was a Business   Executive in the Computer Industry.
