Jacobson Family Wins Early Winter Family Competition; 
Brusteins and Freydlins get Silver, and Bronze!

 

Aaron, and Brandon Jacobson both played in the open section during the Dr Ostfeld Early Winter Championships and both did exceptionally well in that the toughest section.  Brandon won all four games while Aaron got two wins, and two draws to give the family a total score of seven out of eight points.   Both are now eligible to get free entry into the Dr Ostfeld Memorial Spring championship scheduled for March 29th, as well as free entry to any Super Saturday Quads competition at our Fair Lawn location. 

The Brusteins, Dina, and Maximillian both played in section four and got three wins each to get a total of six out of eight points to finish in second for the family event.  Both are now eligible for free entry to the Dr Ostfeld Memorial Spring championship scheduled for March 29th, as well as free entry to any Super Saturday Quads competition at our Fair Lawn location.

The Freydlins, finished in third place on the strength of CJ’s four out of four first place finish in section one, and Yael’s two wins in section two.  They, along with their dad Eli who played in section five, all already received free entry into these past Dr Ostfeld Memorial Winter championships.

Nineteen players competed in the family event at the Early winter Ostfeld championships.
